What are We Doing?
Our #eXtendGen outreach, while still providing meals (click for details), has now been eXpanded to provide face masks and face mask adapters to individuals and organizations in our community.

Why are We Doing It?
Face masks help reduce the spread of viruses and are considered highly beneficial for officers, food handlers, store clerks, and others who have high-contact with the general public. And for healthcare workers and other employees who are required to wear face masks all day long, their ears can become very sore and the cartilage may even begin to break down. So having an adapter to hook their masks on, instead of their ears, can provide major relief.

How Can I Get Involved?
Watch the video tutorials on this page for instructions on how to make the masks and/or adapters. OR, if sewing and crocheting is not something you're confident doing, you may consider sewing buttons onto the adapters, putting together gift bags for distribution, and/or donating items for the production teams. Finally, If you wish to contribute financially, you can donate by clicking here. So there's truly something for everyone at any skill-level!

If you're interested in being part of the face mask team, at any level, please fill out and submit the form below.
