April at LCXKids: The Gospels

The Book of Luke

We’re continuing our journey through the Gospels this month and diving into the Gospel of Luke. We want to help kids see how the author of this book is writing to help everyone see Jesus as The Savior of the World. Through various parables, stories, and real life examples that Jesus gives us, we can approach this book of the Bible with confidence and assurance that there is nothing lost that Jesus can’t find.

April Week 1 (Easter Sunday):

Main Point: Jesus Makes All Things New

Bible Story: The Last Supper

Scripture: Luke 22:7-38

“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

Luke 19:10 ESV

April at LCXKids: The Gospels

The Book of John

In this fourth and final Gospel, we look at the book of John in two parts: The Book of Signs and the Book of Glory. John’s writing helps us to see Jesus as the Promised Messiah. We’ll take a look at the divinity of Jesus and the humanity of him as well. This book is rich with imagery and truths that point us towards the path of walking like Jesus walked.

April Week 2:

Main Point: The Word Became Flesh

Bible Story: In the Beginning

Scripture: John 1:1-5

April Week 3:

Main Point: I Am Washed By Jesus

Bible Story: Jesus Washes Feet

Scripture: John 13:1-17

April Week 4:

Main Point: I Am A Branch

Bible Story: The Vine

Scripture: John 15:1-5

May Week 1:
