Baptisms & Baby Dedications

Faith Milestones

Faith & Family Celebrations

Baptism and baby dedications are powerful steps in your faith journey. Whether you're going public with your commitment to Christ or dedicating your child to God's care, these moments mark new beginnings. We're here to support and celebrate with you every step of the way.

Water Baptisms

Baptisms

We offer water baptisms at both campuses several times throughout the year to celebrate lives made new in Christ. Whether you’re new to faith or taking the neXt step after years of following Jesus, baptism is a powerful way to declare your commitment. Water baptism is an outward symbol of what happened internally. The old man with stains of sin goes into the water. They are fully immersed, representing the complete death of the old man, His will, and His ways of sin, and washed completely clean by the blood of Jesus. When they come out of the water it represents the new birth of a new creation surrendered to Christ.

Following Christ

Jesus was not a sinner, yet he humbled himself in obedience to identify with us and give us an eXample to follow.

An Act Of Obedience

Water baptism is an act of faith in and obedience to the commands of Christ.

A Public Declaration

Baptism declares that you are a follower of Jesus Christ. It is a public confession of your faith in, and commitment to, Jesus Christ.

Why Is Baptism Necessary?

It’s a command from Jesus

Jesus instructed His followers to baptize new disciples as part of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19–20). Baptism is an act of obedience that aligns us with His instruction.

It’s a public declaration of faith

Baptism is an outward eXpression of the inward decision to follow Christ. It allows believers to boldly proclaim their commitment in front of their church family.

It symbolizes new life in Christ

Going under the water represents dying to our old self, and coming out symbolizes being raised into a new life through Jesus.

It acknowledges Jesus’ sacrifice

Baptism helps us reflect on and honor Jesus’ death and resurrection—recognizing that His sacrifice has made us clean and whole.

It follows Christ’s example

Jesus was baptized before beginning His public ministry, showing us that this step is both significant and necessary in our walk of faith.

It marks a spiritual milestone

Whether you’re a new believer or recommitting your life, baptism is a defining moment that affirms your identity and purpose in Christ.

Baby Dedications

Baby Dedications

Baby dedications at LifechurchX are a special time for parents to publicly commit to raising their child according to God’s Word. It’s not just a tradition—it’s a meaningful act of faith where families stand before the church and invite God’s blessing, guidance, and grace over their child’s life.

During the dedication, our pastors pray over each child and family, asking for wisdom, protection, and spiritual growth. It’s also a moment for the church community to surround families with love and support as they begin this journey. We believe raising children in the ways of the Lord is a sacred calling—and we’re honored to walk alongside you every step of the way.
