LCXKids December Studies
We’re getting ready for an Amazing Christmas with LCXKids! This December, we’ll be diving into the true meaning of Christmas. Each week, we’ll eXplore a new theme:
- Week 1: Jesus Brings Hope
- Week 2: Jesus Brings Peace
- Week 3: Jesus Brings Joy
- Week 4: Jesus Loves
- Week 5: Jesus Brings Life
Our memory verse for the series is:
“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities-all things were created through Him and for Him.”-Colossians 1:15-16
We’d love to have your littles join us this month during Sunday services at each campus!

Adopt a student from CCSI this holiday season at our LifechurchX Waterloo-Columbia campus. Pick an ornament from our Christmas tree, purchase the gift, and help make a student’s Christmas brighter. Gifts are due back by Dec 15th. Let’s make a difference together!
JCCU Christmas Ornament eXtension
This season, LCX in Jerseyville is eXcited to partner with JCCU for their Christmas Ornament Project to benefit their household goods pantry! Visit our Christmas tree in the Jerseyville lobby and choose a special ornament (each one lists needed household items). Purchase and return the items to LCX by December 22nd. Together, we can help our neighbors stock their homes with essential items this Christmas season!
Guest Preacher- WC campus 12/1
Our mission partner Rich will be preaching at our Waterloo-Columbia campus on Dec 1st After the second service, we’ll host a special mission luncheon and Q&A session with Rich. If you have a heart for missions or want to learn more on how to support missionary work, this is a great opportunity!
Restore Network Christmas Party 12/7
Tis the season to spread holiday cheer! LCX in Jerseyville is partnering with the Restore Network to help with their Christmas Party on December 7th from 9-11am. They’re in need of volunteers to help make this event eXtra special, including decorating, check-in, the kitchen, games, cookie decorating, the hot cocoa station, and more. Food will be provided!

Calling all Waterloo-Columbia volunteers! Join us for our biggest eXtreme Service Project of the year, the eXtreme Leaf Project on December 13th and 14th! We will be helping folks in our community clean up their yards for winter. Bring your rakes, gloves, and leaf blowers!
