Tabernacle Nights- Join us for Tabernacle Night at LCX on Feb 2nd at 7pm at both campuses. This will be a time where we invite you to participate in our corporate fasting and have a time of prayer and devotion.
Fasting and Prayer for Protection
“Then I proclaimed a fast there at the river of Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God, to seek from Him the right way for us and our little ones and all our possessions. For I was ashamed to request of the king an escort of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy on the road, because we had spoken to the king, saying, “The hand of our God is upon all those for good who seek Him, but His power and His wrath are against all those who forsake Him.” So we fasted and entreated our God for this, and He answered our prayer.” -Ezra 8:21-23
Fasting to Be Seen Only by God
“Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the [e]hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you [f]openly.” -Matthew 6:16-18
LCX Prayer Points
May we all be unified and targeted in our prayers as we pray and fast together as a church family on the first Friday of each month in 2024, ending with Tabernacle Nights at each campus at 7pm.
- May God continue to raise up the NeXt Generation at LCX to boldly confess and serve Him
- May God continue to draw more people who are lost in darkness to LCX and other churches so they may hear the Gospel
- May God continue to eXpand the influence and reach of LCX to help elevate the health of the Body of Christ in our region
- May God continue to move on the hearts of people at LCX to partner with Him and what He’s doing in our community to build the Kingdom
- May God continue to raise up new leaders filled with faith and humility to help carry the LCX vision forward
- May God continue to guide the leaders of LCX to be wise and faithful stewards of all that He is entrusting to us
- May God continue to bring healing, restoration, and freedom to all who come to LCX carrying wounds, hurts, and bondages from their past
- May God’s presence continue to increase significantly all year long in every LCX weekend service and corporate gathering where 2-3 or more are gathered in His name
