What We Believe

Statement of Faith

Built on Belief

At LifechurchX, our faith is more than words—it’s the foundation of how we live, love, and lead. These biblical truths guide our mission and keep us rooted in God’s purpose for His Church.

Our Unshakable Beliefs

The following doctrinal commitments represent the core beliefs of the church as outlined in the Bible. The programs and activities governing the form of worship of LifechurchX, Inc. shall be based upon and at all times shall be consistent with the following non-negotiable creed and beliefs:

The Holy Scriptures are the source of ultimate truth which are unchanging with the times. We believe the whole Bible is to be preached in order to make Biblical disciples, and nothing is ever to be added or taken away from the Holy Scriptures. We believe the Bible is complete and not lacking anything we need for our purpose in this life and eternity. (2 Timothy 3:16; I Peter 1:25; 2 Peter 1:21; Romans 10:17; Revelation 22:18-19; Hebrews 13:8)

(Matthew 28:19; John 1:14; Acts 5:3-4; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Colossians 1:15-20; Hebrews 1:1-3; Revelation 1:4-6)

(Matthew 1:23; John 1:14)

Man is a created being, made in the likeness and image of God, but through Adam’s transgression and fall, sin came into the world. “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” “As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one.” Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came into the world to defeat the work of the devil and gave His life and shed His blood to redeem and restore man back to God. (Romans 5:12; Romans 3:23; Romans 3:10; 1 John 3:8)

Salvation is the gift of God to man, separate from works and the law, and is made operative by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, producing works acceptable to God. (Ephesians 2:8)

Man’s first step toward salvation is repentance of sin. The new birth is necessary to all men, and when fulfilled produces eternal life. When repentance of sin and acceptance of God’s forgiveness through His Son have happened, we are infilled with the Holy Spirit. We are born again and made a new creation in Christ and become heirs of eternal life as well as spiritual gifts and blessings in this life necessary to fulfill our purpose. (Romans 10:6-10; 1 John 1:9; 2 Corinthians 7:10; John 3:16; Romans 8:17; Ephesians 1:13; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Revelation 3:5; Revelation 20:15; Ephesians 1:3; Ephesians 4:8)

We believe water baptism is for believers only. The act of obedience is a symbol of the Christian’s identification with Christ and His death, burial, and resurrection. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; Acts 10:48, Romans 6:4, Colossians 2:12)

(1 Corinthians 11:24-26)

(Acts 1:5; 10:44-46; 19:1-6)

(Galatians 5:16-25, Ephesians 4:30-32; 5:18, 1 John 5:4)

(1 Corinthians 12:1-11, Ephesians 4:8) (Galatians 5:22-25)

It is provided for in the atonement of Christ, and it is the privilege of every member of the church today. (Mark 16: 17, 18; James 5:14-16, 1 Peter 2:24, Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:17)

The Angels said, “This same Jesus shall so come in like manner: His coming is imminent. When He comes, “The dead in Christ shall rise first; then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air.” (Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

Following the tribulation, He shall return to earth, as King of kings, and the Lord of lords and together with His Saints, who shall be kings and priests, He shall reign a thousand years. (Revelation 20:6;(Matthew 24:36, 42, 44)

(Acts 16:5; Hebrews 10:24-25, Proverbs 27:17)

(Revelation 20:11, 12; 2 Corinthians 5:10) (Colossians 3:12, 13; Philippians 4:5)

(John 14:2; Revelation 7:15-17)

The one who physically dies in his sins without Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost in the lake of fire, and therefore, has no further opportunity of hearing the Gospel or for repentance. The lake of fire is literal. The terms “eternal’ and “everlasting” used in describing the duration of the punishment of the damned in the lake of fire carry the same thought and meaning of endless eXistence as used in noting the duration of joy and ecstasy of the saints in the presence of God. (Matthew 13: 41, 42; Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 19:20; Revelation 20:10, 15)

(Malachi 3:10; 1 Corinthians 16: 1, 2)

(Genesis 2:24, Leviticus 18:22, 1 Corinthians 7:2)

We believe that He doesn’t make mistakes, therefore our gender cannot and should not attempt to be changed. (Genesis 5:2, Genesis 1:27)
