Upcoming Events
Clergy United Youth Unity Night 2/2- We’re inviting our LCXYouth to an eXciting evening of faith, friendship, and fun at the Clergy United Youth Unity Night hosted by Life Community Church on Feb. 2nd. This special event brings together youth from various churches in our community to celebrate our shared beliefs and foster unity among young believers. There will be games, worship, prayer, and plenty of food!
WC Guest Speaker, Amit Grinfeld 2/4- Join us on Tuesday, February 4th at 7:00 PM at our Waterloo-Columbia campus as we welcome special guest Amit Grinfeld, founder of We Walk Together. Amit will share powerful insights and provide equipping education about the importance of standing with Israel.
Baptisms 2/9- Ready to declare your faith and take your neXt step with Jesus? We’re holding baptisms at both campuses on February 9th! Baptism is a beautiful public declaration of your faith and commitment to follow Christ.
WC Valentine’s Day Parent’s Night Out 2/14- We are hosting a parent’s night out on Valentine’s Day at our Waterloo-Columbia campus. Our youth will watch your children while you enjoy a night out together. This is a fundraiser to help support our youth to go to camp this summer.
JV Blood Drive 3/6- Make a life-saving difference right here in our community! Join us for our upcoming blood drive in partnership with the American Red Cross at our Jerseyville campus.
Hunter Safety Course 3/7- LCX is eXcited to host a Hunter Safety Course at our Jerseyville campus! Whether you’re new to hunting or looking to refresh your knowledge, this course provides essential training for safe and responsible hunting practices.
This two-day course is open to everyone in our community, including both LCX campuses and the general public.
Course Details:
March 7-8 (Friday and Saturday)
Friday Session: 5:00 PM-9:00 PM
Saturday Session 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
*Those 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
LCXYouth Camp at Gracelife Chapel 6/16-6/20- Youth camp is June 16th-20th! LCXYouth you don’t want to miss the opportunity to go to camp this summer! It will be a week filled with growing closer to God, making friends, enjoying fun activities like color wars, swimming, and go karts. Sign up today with your $50 nonrefundable deposit to secure your spot for camp. The total cost for camp will be $275. We will have fundraiser opportunities to help raise these funds. Limited spots available!
LCXKids February Studies
This February in LCXKids, we’re learning ALL ABOUT THE HEART!
Your kids will discover why the heart is so special to God and how it shapes everything we do. Through engaging lessons from Proverbs and Jesus’ teachings, they’ll learn what it means to love God with their whole heart and let his goodness shine through them!
Week 1: All of My Heart Belongs to God
Week 2: I Will Guard My Heart
Week 3: My Heart is Pure
Week 4: My Heart Has Peace
Our memory verse for this series is: “Above everything else, guard your heart. Everything you do comes from it.”-Proverbs 4:23
